Ho! Ho! Ho! Off to the New Year we go…

WOW! I can’t believe the holidays came and went and we are in a new year. 2012 is going to be a GREAT year! We have decided as a family to always look at life in a positive way. We have our health, our amazing family and the best of friends that we like to call family. Reflecting on 2011 I personally feel relieved that it is over. We have lost loved ones that are dear to us. Ray went through an awful time with his back issues, my brother went through a horrible divorce and shall we not forget all the struggles most of us are having with money. JESUS! When you write it all down it is depressing. So that is why for 2012 we have chosen to look at life in a glass half full instead of half empty way going forward. Money can’t buy heath, happiness, family or friends and we have all of that. That is something for us to be grateful for and to be excited to see what blessings the New Year will bring to us and to all that we know.

With that being said we enjoyed our holiday tremendously. This is the second holiday season for us with our cutie BOO-babies. It was so much fun watching them walk around and hang out with our family in NJ. I think I can speak for both of us that our favorite memories of the holiday will be the days we spent with our family. MomMom (ray’s mom) really out did herself this year. Almost every day we were there she was cooking, cleaning, caring for the babies and Ray and I. We always feel like we are on vacation when we go home. ha. It’s sad I know we need to get out more, but we take advantage of her help when we get it. That is one thing we both dislike about living away from family is the lack of support and help with the twins. Just the other day we wanted to go out and couldn’t because we don’t have a babysitter. Again in to stay positive we always say one day Hendrix and Vivi will be too busy to hang out with us so we are going to enjoy these moments instead of complaining about them. Raymond was very excited especially because for the very first time he was able to see his beautiful Godson Paulie. OMG…soooooooo cute! We both are IN LOVE with this little guy. He is perfect in every way and we can’t wait to see our crazy twins run around with their cousin. Lauren’s Christmas Day dinner was so much fun too. PROPS to Mike for the beautiful work on their kitchen it is so beautiful. Anytime you are bored feel free to come to CT and work on our kitchen. Having all of Teta Regina’s family over the following day was lots of fun too! It was great seeing all their kids play with Hendrix and Vivi. We really enjoyed seeing everyone every day we were home. I just wish we could share the same joy with our family down in Texas. We really missed y’all this holiday season. We hope you all had a wonderful holiday and we hope that one day soon we will be able to make a trip down for y’all to meet Hendrix and Vivienne. However if anyone TX or NJ wants to come to CT for a nice visit just come on up. Our door is always open and we would love to have you over. New England is a wonderful place to visit (Google it).

We promise to post at least once a month. Enjoy the photos. We love y’all.
