Mother's Day is EVERY DAY!!

Someone who I love with all my heart (Nana) said to me today.."Mother's Day is every day." Well Nana, I agree. With that being said, I really love being a mom. I love looking into my children's eyes and kissing their sweet faces. I love how they crawl up into my lap and hug and kiss me for no reason. How they say hi every day with a smile on their face and they run up to me like I'm Santa Claus. They love me so much as I do them and it is the most wonderful feeling in the world. They are my whole life. I just thank God every day for his blessings and I am so excited to wake up each day and experience my children all over again.

So for Mother's Day my dear sweet hubby had my special day all planned out. He took charge of the babies in the morning so that I could sleep in. (which I did not sleep. I honestly tried and tried and was unsuccessful.) He planned a beautiful brunch at a resturant on the Connecticut River for all four of us. (the resturant was a nightmare... horrible from the moment we walked in. the music was so loud. no outside seating with a view of the river and the food was awful. no worries because we left without eating, came home and fired up the grill. yummy.) Then we went out for ice cream with the kids. It really was a perfect Mother's Day. Thank you so much Ray. I love you.

Regardless how awful the resturant was,z we did capture some fun family photos. Enjoy!

spring time fun with the T's!!

Last weekend we had our good friends the T's over. Joe and Ray grew up together and is a brother to Ray. They are very close and as most of our family knows that is why he is the Godfather to one of our children. His wife Carisa is like my sister. We call ourselves family for that very reason. We love hanging out and spending time with each other because we always have a good time. Joe and Carisa have an adorable little girl Olivia and Hendrix and Vivienne LOVE her!! She is so cute and seeing our children and Olivia playing and enjoying each others company is so much fun. The T's and us always try to include each other in holidays and special events. One milestone we have reached was BABY'S FIRST HAIRCUT. OMG..can we say hilarious.

Now first let me say if Auntie Shell (our neighbor) was in town we would have gone to her, but since she was gone we went to this cute little children's salon to get their first hair cuts. Vivienne and Olivia were such big girls. They sat in their little cars and allowed the hairdressers to cut their hair. Unfortunately I didn't really care for Vivi's bangs. The stylist cut them straight across and we all thought she looked like Lloyd in Dumb & Dumber played by Jim Carrey. hahahahaha. Awful we know, but so true. It is ok because we just push them aside and clip them and it is all good. :)

Vivi AKA..Lloyd Jr.
Then comes our sweet dear little boy Hendrix. He just did not want anything to do with this fun filled event. The stylist first tried to cut his hair in the little red car, but we soon had to move to a chair and I had to hold him in order for the job to be done. Hendrix cried and screamed the entire time, but in the end he had a faboulous Mohawk just like Daddy use to have. The stylist spiked it up with lots of hair gel and it looked great for a short time. When we got home I took all the gel out and let his cool mohawk relax and he went back to looking like my sweet son who does no wrong. ha.

This was a fun and exciting experience, but OMG..we will for sure always and forever use Auntie Shell for the haircuts going forward. I think Hendrix was so scared I'm afraid he will not let anyone ever touch his hair. :(

The next day we all had a fun day at the park. Enjoy the photos.

Thanks for the FUN filled weekend Uncle Joe, Auntie Carisa and Olive! We love y'all!!

We started this blog back in 2010 so that you all could follow our journey with IVF. After the babies were born we stopped the blogging just because we had no time to do it. We posted all updates on facebook. Since we have decided to get rid of facebook and come back to our blog we wanted to post old photos along with recent photos just so you could see our lives over the past 17 months. We hope you enjoy them all. Hugs, Mykolaitis Crew
